Saturday, May 2nd is the biannual roadside cleanup. We are in need of volunteers and would love to see everyone there.  

Who: YOU and any family or friends 
-What: Biannual Roadside Clean-up of Lake George Blvd
-When: Saturday, May2nd at 9am
-Where: Meet at Lake George Regional Park under the pavilion by the playground
-Why: For a good time, donuts, and to keep our beautiful lake and neighborhood clean

Jon Ridge Celebration of Life

Jon William Ridge, age 72, of New Brighton Minnesota, passed away on April 7th, 2026.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life event to take place Sunday, April 26th (details pending). Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 25th at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 2357 Bayless Pl, St Paul, MN 55114. It is time to think about SPRING! The Anoka Conservation District (ACD) is taking pre-orders for the annual tree and shrub sale. Pick up is the last Saturday in April. 

  • Order early to guarantee availability
  • Over 25+ species available
  • You do not need to be an Anoka County Resident to order.
  • All trees and shrubs are sold as bare root seedlings.
  • Most are sold in bundles of ten for $24 or twenty-five for $46 - not including tax.
  • Native prairie seed and tree aides are also available.
  • PICK UP LOCATION -Anoka Conservation District - in Pole Building (lower lot)
  • Pick up details announced beginning of -April 2026 (pick up typically the last Sat in April)

Golly! The DNR grade for Lake George as only a C+ !!

Lake George has received grade of C+ from the DNR. This grade is based on this lake's average water quality, average quality of fish and/or plant life and the above-average condition of its shoreline and surrounding environment. It is an impaired water due to mercury in fish.
